The studio is located near Brenham, Texas on beautiful Lake Somerville, 80 miles northwest of Houston. The facilites include a gallery, supply store, kiln rooms, private working areas, student classroom, and outside raku workshop area.

Raku Pottery Classes Raku handbuilding Class and Raku Firing Class
Regular Clay handbuilding class
Are you interested in a weekday evening class or weekend class? If you have 4 or more friends and want to do a clay handbuilding class, give us a call! We can set up classes for you and your friends. We can make pieces to decorate your home with or pieces you cook or bake in or serve with. Make this a party event for you and your friends. You will have to return at another time to glaze your pieces. This will only take a short time to do this and the price of the class includes the glazing and firing of your pieces
Cost of Weekend Classes is $60.00 per person 1 - 3 pm Cost of evening 2 hour handbuilding class $60.00 per person 6 - 8 pm
Remember, these include 2 classes with the second class being a regular glazing class and we will fire your pieces.
Raku handbuilding classes are weekends from 1 - 3 pm and this requires 2 classes. One for making pieces and one for raku firing pieces. Raku classes are $90.00 per student. (remember this is for 2 classes, one for building piece and one for raku firing pieces)

Raku Handbuilding Class October 9th, 2010. 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm You will hand make your own piece of pottery to be raku fired on Halloween Weekend, Sat. October 30th, 2010. Cost of Class is $50.00. Sign up soon. Woodville Harvest Festival at Woodville Heritage Village. October 15th - 17th, 2010 Come and see Steve throw pottery on an old hand built pottery kick wheel in an old log built corn crib. Enjoy the festivities of a GREAT, RELAXING weekend. Raku Firing Day Come in costume!! (or not) Your Choice!! October 30th, 2010. 1:00 pm ---till Time to fire those raku clay pieces you made or, size of class permitting, buy a piece already made. Pot luck dinner and fun! BYOWine Cost of firing is $50.00 Weather permitting, we can watch the raku kiln fire up and glow in the evening while sitting in the cabana watching the sunset!
